Okay so here is the deal, when I first got into crypto I seen it as a cool and unique way of storing value that most people were not up on yet. I still see it as this, the technology in the crpyto world has evolved into useful projects, like for example raising money for the less fortunate / those really in true need. But, what I found out after trading crypto and learning more about it, is that, the digital space is absolutely full of scammers. After thorough research I was able to see how quite a few prominent crypto project leaders were full of horse shit. Like for example the founder of litecoin, charlie lee or justin sun the founder of tron. I still have it in my old notes how charlie lee did a massive dump on his followers and gained millionaire status like over night, and his main excuse was some bull sh*t about how it was a “conflict of interest”, and that is the reason why he dumped / sold all his crypto holdings of his own project. The same tokens that he is supposed to be holding no matter the “weather”, to show other investors that he truly believes in his own project. Lol, all I could do is laugh. Actually its funny on one hand, but on another its not. A lot, and I mean a lot of people have been heavily scammed in crypto and have lost their life savings. Massive amounts of people have been scammed already, and the scamming is still going on. I don’t need to post it here, a simple google search will show you what im talking about, just google “biggest crypto scams 2023”, or something similar. And if that isn’t enough proof for you, the man who the movie wolf of wallstreet was based on said its full of scams as well.
And I agree with him, its not the technology its the people getting involved with the technology.
Here is an example of a project that is legit
also here are two gentleman talking about the digital world and how NFTs have real world application
One of the resasons why it's so easy to scam in crypto is because alot of people don't understand the technology yet, its still highly unregulated in certain parts of the world, etc etc. But its cool, the technology isnt going anywhere, it just takes a while for the real world application adopters to catch up. Real estate transactions are already being recorded on block chains. All that being said, i'll still keep my distance for now.
